From January to August 2021, China imported a total of 775,000 tons of main synthetic rubber, a decrease of 91,000 tons or 10% compared with the same period in 2020.

From January to August 2021, China exported a total of 190000 tons of main synthetic rubber, an increase of 89,000 tons compared with the same period in 2020, an increase of 89%.

From January to August 2021, China imported a total of 183,000 tons of synthetic latex, an increase of 41% year-on-year; imports of natural rubber latex totaled 347,000 tons, an increase of 7% year-on-year.

From January to August 2021, China imported 55,000 tons of composite rubber, a year-on-year increase of 33%; imported natural rubber totaled 1.075 million tons, an increase of 21% year-on-year; imported natural rubber and synthetic rubber mixtures totaled 1.919 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 15%.
