Jinyu (Vietnam) Tire Co. Ltd has launched the production of its first truck/bus radial tyre on March 30, 2021 in its new factory in Vietnam with a focus on an annual capacity of 2 million units.

After nine months of intense construction, the project team at Jinyu (Vietnam) Tire Co. Ltd has overcome multiple challenges including the Covid-19 pandemic situation, rainy season etc. to build the new plant that has 19 buildings covering an area of 1,30,000 square metres. The team successfully assembled 894 equipment and supporting facilities along with the complete production line and plan to start mass production by this May.

 Jinyu (Vietnam) Tire Co. Ltd is the first overseas production plant of Qingdao, China-based Jinyu Tire Group. The company banks on its ability to utilise digital technology and automation process in the field of R&D, production, delivery by Industrial Intelligent Equipment, Operation Excellence Management System, Intelligent Production Management System, Automatic Control System, Safety Control System and CRM system in its new plant to honour its commitment that “time proves quality”.

The successful establishment of the Vietnam project will optimise Jinyu Tire Group’s global supply chain and provide a base for the group’s globalisation strategy. With the operation of the factory, the company will be able to provide its products and services to more customers all over the world, including the local Vietnam market. (TT)
