From August 11 to August 12, CRIA “2020 Working Conference of Tire Label Technology Committee” was held in Sennics.
Su Fu, CEO of Sennics, introduced the company’s practice of constantly improving the ability of independent innovation and sustainable development and leading technological progress and high-quality development of polymer additives industry as well as the method of taking independent intellectual property as the core and insisting on the path of green sustainable development.
The conference revealed that by the end of July 2020, 62 enterprises registered their enterprise information on China Tire Label Management Data Platform. 28 enterprises (39.3% foreign-invested and joint venture enterprises, 60.7% domestic-funded enterprises) won 192 Chinese tire labels of 1056 specifications, including 101 C1 tire labels of 878 specifications; 3 C2 tire labels of 34 specifications; and 88 C3 tire labels of 144 specifications.
It is further learned that new EU label will take effect on May 1, 2021. According to the introduction, except for re-dividing the rolling resistance and slippery grade and new mark of noise grade, new EU tire label also adds the performance requirements and marks of snow and ice tires.
The conference introduced the current revision conditions of the national standards such as rolling resistance, slippery and noise limits of the tire.
According to the “Second National Census of Pollution Sources” bulletin of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the conference notified the pollution generation and discharge conditions of rubber industry. Meanwhile, it interpreted relevant environmental protection regulations such as Technical Specification for Application and Issuance of Pollutant Permit Rubber and Plastic Products Industry (HJ1122-2020) and Technical Guidelines for Emergency Emission Reduction Measures for Key Industries with Heavy Pollution Weather published by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
The conference discussed the draft of Evaluation Requirements for Tire Industry Green Factories and Requirements of Green Supply Chain Management of Tire Manufacturing Enterprises; and the next work plan of 2020, including the matters such as revision of Emission Standard of Pollutants for Rubber Products Industry (GB 27632-2011) and preparing Technical Guide for VOCs Management of Rubber Products Industry. The representatives of the conference discussed other problems concerned by the industry, and listened to the report Influence of Rubber Protection on Green Tires made by the application technology researcher of Sennics and visited the R&D Center of Sennics.
About 30 representatives participated in this conference, including the personnel from 7 domestic-funded tire enterprises such as ZC Rubber, Linglong Tire, Triangle Tire, Doublecoin Tire, Prinx Chengshan, Guizhou Tyre and Wanli Tire, 3 foreign-invested enterprises such as Bridgestone, Michelin and Continental as well as the certification, scientific research and testing agencies such as EVE Rubber Institute, China Quality Certification Centre (CQC), CATARC Yancheng Automotive Proving Ground and Shandong Zhongya Automotive Proving Ground.
