On July 26, Michelin (China) and the China International Import Expo (CIIE) signed a memorandum of cooperation for a three-year exhibition.
On the same day, the first meeting of the 3rd CIIE Exhibitor Alliance was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). As a member of the Council, Michelin actively participated in the exhibition and provided suggestions and expressed expectations for the success of the CIIE in 100 days.
Kamran Vossoughi, President and CEO of Michelin Greater China, said: "The COVID-19 epidemic has brought many changes and uncertainties to the market, but Michelin's business in China has shown strong resilience and is recovering rapidly. At this CIIE, Michelin will show the vision of 'everything is sustainable' to the public. By promoting safer, smarter, greener, and more enjoyable travel, we share all the journey to a sustainable future."
At the end of January this year, under the difficult situation of the epidemic, Michelin decided to sign a contract to participate in the CIIE. This decision stemmed from confidence in the Chinese economy, market, and its own business. Today, many economic data show that China's economy is recovering rapidly.
