The medical latex gloves project invested by Nanjing Dongrun Group with 350 Million Yuan started on March 9. With purchase of production lines and 500 sets of dispensing equipment as well as new construction of 8 production processing lines for medical gloves, the project would form the annual productive capacity of 400 million pairs of medial gloves upon completion, further enhancing the company’s capacity and quality of medical products. 

In respond to the outbreak of COVID-19, Nanjing Dongrun is reported to immediately recall 80 local employees in the third day of Chinese New Year for resumption of production. They resumed two production lines for sterile gloves and latex gloves respectively to produce 110 thousand pairs of sterile gloves and 140 thousand pairs of latex gloves every day. By the time of this report, the company has donated the epidemic prevention materials worth 380 Thousand Yuan in total, including 140 thousand pairs of examination gloves and 40 thousand pairs of medical gloves to Leishenshan Hospital and Huoshenshan Hospital in Wuhan, as well as 150 thousand pairs of examination gloves to the Health Commissions of Nanjing City and Gaochun District.
