Affected by overseas trade friction, for the need of the international strategic layout of rubber enterprises, the enthusiasm of China’s rubber enterprises for building factories overseas was not diminished in 2019. In Southeast Asia, Prinx Chengshan invested 170 Million Yuan to build a new factory in Thailand as per the standard of green intelligent tire factory; Sentury announced that it planned to built another intelligent factory to make the total annual capacity of its Thai factory reach 18 million tires; in June, Maxtrek Tyres started the construction of its tire factory with an annual output of 6.50 million tires in Malaysia-China Guandan Industrial Park; in September, Xingda Steel Tyre Cord (Thailand) Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 1 Billion Yuan was officially opened to mainly produce the steel cord products for automobile tires, with a designed annual capacity of 100000 tons; in November, ACTR Tire Factory, a joint venture founded by Sailun Group and Cooper Company, was opened in Tay Ninh, Vietnam; in December, the construction of the Vietnam Factory of Guizhou Tyre was officially started, with a designed annual capacity as 1.2 million high-performance intelligent all-steel tires; the first tire of Thailand Overseas Factory of Jiangsu General with an investment of USD 300 Million was produced. In the countries along “the Belt and Road”, in January, the tire project of Roadbot in Abu Dhabi was started; in March, the Serbia Factory of Linglong Tire was officially opened, with an annual output of 13.62 million high-performance radial tires; in November, CHAOYANG LONGMARCH signed a joint venture agreement with Pakistan Sevice Industrial Company to produce all-steel radial tires for trucks and passenger cars in Pakistan; Doublestar Group signed a joint venture agreement with Pakistan MSD Tire Rubber Company and Dayu Pakistan Bus Service Co., Ltd. to build a factory with an annual output of 7 million radial tires in Pakistan.
