On October 21, 2019, Doublestar Tire held a ceremony for the trial-production of Doublestar Dongfeng Tire “Industry 4.0” Smart Factory and the opening ceremony for Doublestar Hubei Ecostar “Industry 4.0” Project of Green Ecological Industrialization of Waste Rubber.

The project of Doublestar Dongfeng Tire “Industry 4.0” Smart Factory, covering an area of 481 Mu and the building area of 260 thousand㎡, started construction in June 2018 with total investment of 1.5 Billion Yuan. Upon reaching design capacity, it will develop the annual capacity of 5 million sets of mid-to-high end semi-steel tires and 1.5 million sets of mid-to-high end all-steel tires, thus becoming the manufacturing base of Doublestar for mid-to-high end all-steel radial tires, special tires for military vehicles, semi-steel radial tires and special tires for new energy vehicles.

Doublestar Hubei Ecostar “Industry 4.0” Project for Green Ecological Industrialization of Waste Rubber, covering an area of total 157 Mu and the planned building area of 40 thousand㎡ and having the total investment of about 320 Million Yuan, adopts the intelligent equipment of green and ecological recycling of waste rubber developed by Doublestar itself, which is featured by “zero discharge, zero pollution and zero residue”. This project will dispose of 100 thousand tons of waste rubber (tire) per year.
