Lately, Himile Chemical Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd. has decided to invest 24 Million Yuan to develop the continuous flow equipment test platform project.

The project, located at Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, mainly engages in the R&D of continuous flow microchannel reactor, mass and heat transfer performance test of continuous flow chemical reaction experiment, and the product and by-product yields compared to that with old processing technology. Himile Chemical Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd. and Himile Mechanical Manufacturing (Shandong) Co., Ltd. are both subsidiaries of Himile Group (Shandong). The R&D and industrialization project of continuous flow reactor, the green chemical equipment developed by Himile Mechanical, was listed as 2019 Shandong Provincial Key Construction Project at the beginning of this year. This project, with total investment of 401.42 Million Yuan, started construction in November 2018 and is expected to complete and run in September 2021. It is planned to build one processing workshop for microreactor and engineering machinery. Upon completion, it will develop the production capacity of 200 pieces of microchannel reactors and 1200 pieces of core components and functional units used for engineering machinery per year, thus making this project the demonstration base of continuous flow microreaction technology application.
