On March 18, the Malaysian production base invested and built by Qingdao Fulin Tyre Corp., Ltd. - Golden Horse Rubber Co., Ltd., held the opening ceremony. The latter is also the first tire plant of Chinese-funded enterprise in Malaysia. The first-phase project is designed to produce 3,000,000 semi-steel tires and 500,000 all-steel tires annully.

Golden Horse Rubber is a subsidiary company 100% owned by Fulin Tyre, which is also the first all-steel tire production line built locally in Malaysia. The project was officially started in October 2016, and was formally put into production at the end of last year. At present, the company can produce 10,000,000 passenger car tires and 1,000,000 truck and bus tires annully, and the product specifications mainly range from 13 to 34 inches.
