On March 25, 2019 China Rubber Conference and China Rubber Expo had a grand opening in Guangzhou, Guangdong. As the largest international rubber industry conference in the world, the meeting of this year attracted nearly a thousand persons of rubber-related upstream and downstream enterprises such as manufacturers of tire and rubber products, suppliers and traders of raw and auxiliary materials and equipment from over 20 countries and regions such as America, Japan, Germany, France, Britain, Italy, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Belgium, the Netherlands and Taiwan, China.
The theme of this conference was “innovation-oriented and lean development” and adopted three-dimensional and multi-dimensional mode of one main forum, two sub-forums, one exhibition scene and multiple salon activities.
The conference interpreted the development trend of Chinese macro economy in 2019. Seen from the international environment, the global economy has been in a “large mediocre” status in recent years, the recovery trend became slow again in 2018 and will greet downward “inflection point” in this year; affected by escalation of trade friction, the global trade is not optimistic; the fluctuation of international oil price is intensified and the global auto industry is depressed. Seen from China’s economic situation, the growth of effective investment is sluggish, the consumption growth speed slows down, the nation introduces a series of policies and measures to stabilize the employment, finance, foreign capital, investment and prediction and grant vigorous support for private economy. This requires the rubber industry to deeply promote the supply-side structural reform and strive to improve the operation quality and benefits. Meanwhile, the conference introduced the economic operation conditions in 2018 and the prediction of 2019 of China rubber industry and overally compared and analyzed the completion conditions of main economic indexes and import and export conditions of various specific industries; analyzed the challenges and opportunities faced by China tire industry and compared and analyzed the development change conditions of comprehensive casing output, sales income and economic benefits from 2012 to 2018 as well as the price trend of natural rubber; introduced the achievements of significant special projects of solid waste recycling of the Ministry of Science and Technology undertaken by Doublestar Goup, which united multiple famous colleges and universities to solve 17 key common technical problems in global field of recycling of scrap tires and built the first global “Industry 4.0” intelligent factory for green and ecological recycling of waste rubber in the world in Runan, Henan; analyzed the current situations and opportunities and challenges faced by China Rubber Equipment Industry; and introduced the research and survey conditions of rubber industry in the second national pollution source census.
RAOT and ATMA respectively introduced the development conditions of the rubber industry in their countries.
