Jiangsu General Science Technology Co., Ltd. (GS) announced on October 25 that its planned project with annual production of 6 million high-performance semi-steel radial tires had been approved by the board of directors. The total investment of this project is no more than 849 Million Yuan. 

GS revealed that the technical improvement on its existing production line with annual production of 6 million motorcycle tires and cycle tires would be made and advanced production equipment and intelligent upgrade plan at home and abroad would be introduced to this production line.

According to the announcement, the semi-steel products of the project invested in and built by GS mainly include high-performance SUV tires and new-energy tires with low rolling resistance and low noise. The project is expected to be completed in 18 months and locates at Hongdou Industrial Park, Donggang Town, Xishan District, Wuxi City. The high-performance tire project will be built based on intellectualized standard which will improve the product quality and production efficiency and also be conductive to the high-end brand image of the company.
