On September 3, Beijing Jinglun Tire Co., Ltd. and Shandong Luhe Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement for jointly building a 8-million passenger car radial tire production base in Zhucheng City, Shandong Province. The project covers an area of about 186 mu. 

It is learned that Beijing Jinglun Tire Co., Ltd. was established in July 2016 and its product brands were BCT, Jinglun and Autoguard, which were registered trademarks of a bankrupt company, Beijing Capital Tire Co., Ltd. (Capital Tire).

Capital Tire was invested and founded by Beijing Capital Group in 1970 on the basis of Beijing Tire Factory. It started manufacturing passenger car radial tires in 1990 and was the first domestic tire enterprise who systematically introduced Italian Pirelli passenger car tire manufacturing technology, the products of which were successively supplied to FAW-Audi, Beijing Jeep, BAIC Motor and other branded automobile companies. However, Capital Tire declared bankruptcy in 2015 due to such reasons as capital chain and environmental protection. Even though, as the soft power of Capital Tire still existed, such as technical capacity and brand impact, technicians of this company then registered a new company, Jinglun Tire. 

According to the cooperation agreement, the manufacturing technology for passenger car tire will be provided by Jinglun Tire. The tire products cover 13-26 inches series. Meanwhile, the original production equipment, mould, etc. of Capital Tire have been entirely moved to Zhucheng City and are under installation and commissioning.
