Triangle Tire Co., Ltd. launched the ceremony for Triangle Tire (USA) Technology Co., Ltd. project in Weihai, Shandong Province on April 22, which indicated that Triangle Tire of cially started its U.S. plant.

The U.S. plant project of Triangle Tire had been led with National Development and Reform Commission and approved by Ministry of Commerce. With up to USD 580 Million of investment, this project, located at Edgecombe County, North Carolina, USA, is planned to manufacture 5 million radial tires used for high-performance passenger vehicles and 1 million radial tires used for commercial vehicles every year. By integrating and applying virtual simulation technology, information technology, automation technology and management technology, it will be built as a “Smart Factory” with brand new features including intelligence in all elds, automation in all process and greenization in all directions.

As the rst oversea manufacturing base of Triangle Tire, Triangle Tire (USA) will play an active role in further completing its layout of R&D, sale and manufacture, effectively pushing forward the international layout for Triangle Tire and promoting the brand influence. At present, this company is one of the tire manufactures in China who have the most variety of serials of products, such as commercial vehicle tire, passenger vehicle tire, engineering radial tire and giant tire, special tire, etc. And these products have been sold to more than 180 countries and districts all over the world.
