Quechen Silicon Chemical Plans to Build a Production and R&D Center in France

During the visit of French President Macron to China, Que Weidong, chairman of Quechen Silicon Chemical Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the inauguration conference of the Sino-French Entrepreneur Committee, on which he signed an letter of intent according to which he would invest 105 Million Euros in setting up a supporting project of the R&D Center that annually produces 90,000 tons of high dispersion silicon dioxide and relevant raw materials in the South of France.

As France is willing to actively participate in the construction of the “Belt and Road”, and the development strategy of Quechen Silicon Chemical is “Producing Leading Products, Driven by Efficiency and Conducting Global Operation”, the two sides chime in easily. The Grand Port Maritime de Marseille, Provence Promotion Economic Development Agency and a French company will provide relevant support for project construction.

By virtue of its efforts in overcoming multiple technological difficulties in high-end white carbon black as well as its efficient and standardized management, it has achieved increase in business for 13 years successively, becoming a professional silicon dioxide manufacturer that ranks the first in Asia and the third globally. The production base in Thailand that the Company invests in building will be put into production this October.
