Presently, the environmental protection department of Xuzhou replied by letter to Nitielong (Jiangsu) Carbon Black Co., Ltd. that the completion of its carbon black project with an annual output of 50,000 tons had been completed, checked and accepted. The total investment of this project is RMB 217.5 Million Yuan, including RMB 26.5 Million Yuan invested in environmental protection which includes a 25,000-ton soft carbon black production line and a 25,000-ton hard carbon black production line respectively.

The Company, set up in China in June 2013 by NCSS Air Water Inc., is a sole proprietorship located at the Coal-Coking Industrial Park, Pizhou Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Province. The project came into operation in June 2013. In September 2015, the feeding trial run of carbon black facilities was successful and was put into operation after the main part of the project and the environment-protecting facilities had been completed.

The Nitielong carbon black project was generally contracted by the EPC Project of China Carbon Black Institute. It is by far the biggest general contract project of carbon black engineering signed by the institute.
