According to the statistics of China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA), in 2016, the leading economic operation indicators, industrial output value at current price and sales revenue, had a positive growth, and the export delivery value had a slight decrease, and basically reversed the trend of rapid decline in the previous year.
Main Condition of Industry Operation
According to the statistics of CRIA on 416 key member enterprises under 11 branches (specialized committees) respectively engaged in tires, cycle tires, rubber hoses & rubber belts, rubber products, rubber shoes, latexes, carbon black, comprehensive utilization of waste rubber, rubber machinery moulds, rubber chemicals and framework materials, in 2016, the realized industrial output value at current price was 312.697 Billion Yuan with a year-on-year (the same below) increase of 2.93%; the realized sales revenue was 283.829 Billion Yuan with an increase o f 4.43%; the realized export delivery value was 86.395 Billion Yuan with a decrease of 0.20%; and the export rate (value) was 27.63% with a decrease of 0.87%; the realized profit and tax increased by 12.81%; the realized profit increased by 11.60%; and the profit rate of sales revenue increased by 0.40%. There were 48 enterprises with deficits, decreased by 4% and the deficit decreased by 23.28%. The manufactured inventory amount decreased by 3.14%. Main Features and Analysis of Economic Operation
Industrial output value at current price realized a slight positive growth, thus containing the falling tendency
According to the statistics of CRIA on key member enterprises, in 2016, the industrial output value at current price of rubber industry increased by 14.51% compared with that in 2015. Among specific industries, the industrial output value at current price of six industries, rubber hoses & rubber belts, rubber products, latexes, rubber machinery moulds, rubber chemicals and framework materials, realized a positive growth; the increase of five industries, rubber hoses & rubber belts, rubber products, latexes, rubber machinery moulds and rubber chemicals, was better than that in last year; the decrease of four industries, tires, cycle tires, carbon black and comprehensive utilization of waste rubber, narrowed compared with that of last year. Sales revenue realized a slight increase to be stabilized
According to the statistics of CRIA on key member enterprises, in 2016, the sales revenue of the industry increased by 4.43%, which increased by 15.73% compared with that of 2015. Among specific industries, the sales revenue of seven industries, tires, rubber products, rubber shoes, latexes, rubber machinery moulds, rubber chemicals and framework materials, realized a positive growth; the growth of six industries, tires, rubber products, rubber shoes, latexes, rubber machinery moulds and rubber chemicals, had an increase better than that of last year; and the decrease of four industries, cycle tires, rubber hoses & rubber belts, carbon black and comprehensive utilization of waste rubber, had a decrease narrowed than that of last year. Export delivery value had a slight year-on-year decrease
According to the statistics of CRIA on key member enterprises, in 2016, the export delivery value of the industry declined by 0.20%, which narrowed by 11.89% compared with that of 2015; the export rate (value) was 27.63%, with a decrease of 0.87%. Among specific industries, the export delivery value of only three industries, tires, carbon black and comprehensive utilization of waste rubber, had a negative growth; the increase of five industries, cycle tires, rubber hoses & rubber belts, rubber products, latexes and rubber chemicals, was better than that of last year; and the decrease of three industries, tires, carbon black and comprehensive utilization of waste rubber, narrowed than that of last year. Realized profit showed a positive growth and operation quality had improved
According to the statistics of CRIA on key member enterprises, in 2016, the realized profit of the industry increased by 11.60%, and the growth increased by 28.59% compared with that of last year. Among specific industries, the realized profit of four industries, tires, cycle tires, rubber shoes and comprehensive utilization of waste rubber, had a negative growth; the carbon black industry made a profit instead of suffering a loss on the whole; the realized profit of two industries, rubber shoes and comprehensive utilization of waste rubber, had an increase lower than that of last year, the decrease of two industries, tires and cycle tires, narrowed, and the increase of the other industries was better than that of last year; three industries, tires, cycle tires and rubber shoes, had a negative growth for successive two years. Conditions of Specific Industries
Tires
For 41 key member enterprises, in 2016, the realized industrial output value at current price decreased by 0.14% and the realized sales revenue increased by 2.09%, in which the sales revenue of radial tires increased by 2.51%. The output of integrative casing increased by 8.47%, in which the output of radial tires increased by 10.10% and the output of all-steel radial tires increased by 8.57%. The radial rate was 91.49% with a growth of 1.35%. The realized export delivery value decreased by 4.93%, and the export rate (value) was 32.14%, with a decrease of 1.62%. The export tire delivery volume increased by 3.05%, in which that of export radial tires increased by 3.32%; and the export rate (volume) was 42.68%, with a decrease of 2.25%. Cycle Tires
For 44 key enterprises, in 2016, the realized industrial output value at current price decreased by 1.34% and the realized sales revenue decreased by 1.95%. Among the leading products, the output of motorcycle casing increased by 5.98%, the output of bicycle casing decreased by 3.42%, and the output of electric bicycle casing decreased by 9.76%. The realized export delivery value increased by 7.80%, and the export rate (value) reached 28.0% with an increase of 2.37%. Rubber Hoses & Rubber Belts
For 52 key enterprises, in 2016, the realized gross industrial output value at current price increased by 0.71%, and the realized sales revenue decreased by 1.65%. Among the leading products, the output of conveyor belt decreased by 5.66%, the output of V belt decreased by 20.37%, and the output of rubber hose increased by 1.90%. The realized export delivery value increased by 8.54%, and the export rate (value) reached 11.47% with an increase of 0.83%. Rubber Products
For 53 key enterprises, in 2016, the realized gross industrial output value at current price increased by 11.07%, and the realized sales revenue increased by 11.62%. Among the leading products, the output of automobile anti-vibration articles increased by 15.41% and the output of “O” rings increased by 8.36%. The realized export delivery value increased by 13.82%; the export rate (value) reached 24.33% with an increase of 0.59%. Rubber Shoes
For 26 key enterprises, in 2016, the realized output value decreased by 7.52%, and the realized sales revenue increased by 2.04%. The realized rubber shoes output decreased by 7.89%. The realized export delivery value increased by 15.32%; the export rate (value) was 13.20% with an increase of 1.52%. The export of rubber shoes increased by 24.87%; the export rate (volume) reached 11.64% with an increase of 3.06%. Latexes
For 28 key enterprises, in 2016, the realized industrial output value at current price increased by 0.92%, and the realized sales revenue increased by 5.48%. Among the leading products, the condom output decreased by 1.61%; the medical gloves output decreased by 2.66%; and the examination gloves output decreased by 11.50%. The realized export delivery value increased by 5.60%; the export rate (value) reached 41.78% with an increase of 1.85%. Carbon Black
For 37 key enterprises, in 2016, the realized industrial output value at current price decreased by 4.15%, and the realized sales revenue decreased by 1.63%. The total output of carbon black increased by 5.03%, in which the output of wet process carbon black increased by 7.05%. The realized export delivery value decreased by 20.12%; the export rate (value) was 13.36% with a decrease of 2.67%. The export of carbon black decreased by 5.23%, the export rate (volume) reached 13.63% with a decrease of 1.47%. Rubber Machinery Moulds
For 20 key enterprises, in 2016, the realized industrial output value at current price increased by 2.16%, and the realized sales revenue increased by 2.50%. The realized output of mould increased by 3.65%. The realized export delivery value increased by 19.14%; the export rate (value) reached 38.30% with an increase of 5.35%. Comprehensive Utilization of Waste Rubber
For 33 key enterprises, in 2016, the realized output value decreased by 3.76%, and the realized sales revenue decreased by 4.98%. The reclaimed rubber output increased by 2.28% and the rubber powder output increased by 16.02%. The realized export delivery value decreased by 15.48%; and the export rate (value) reached 2.89% with a decrease of 0.40%. Rubber Chemicals
For 47 key enterprises, in 2016, the realized industrial output value at current price increased by 21.74% and the realized sales revenue increased by 21.58%. The gross output of rubber chemicals increased by 17.18%, among the leading products, the accelerating agent output increased by 21.37%, and the anti-deteriorant output increased by 9.44%. The realized export delivery value increased by 10.85%, and the export rate (value) reached 30.83%, which decreased by 2.98%. The export volume of rubber chemicals increased by 13.89%, the export rate (volume) reached 28.08%, which decreased by 0.81%. Framework Materials
For 22 enterprises, in 2016, the realized industrial output value at current price increased by 14.52% and the realized sales revenue increased by 16.68%. The realized export delivery value increased by 9.22%, and the export rate (value) reached 35.38%, which decreased by 3.79%.
For 35 enterprises, in 2016, the total output of framework materials increased by 15.10%; in which the output of fiber cord fabrics increased by 9.21%, the output of steel cord increased by 17.19% and the output of bead wire increased by 8.17%.
