Shantou Tianyang Mold Co., Ltd. plans to invest RMB 35 Million Yuan to carry out technical transformation of the equipment producing adjustable aluminum mold products for radial auto tires, purchase 7 intelligent CNC 5-axis linkage machining centers and corollary equipment and operation system software. The production capacity of the adjustable aluminum molds will be increased by 250 sets annually.

This technical transformation project will be based on the characteristics and technological requirements of the aluminum mold products for saloon car tires to transform the equipment. As for the pattern part, aluminum plate is directly used for material preparation and it is directly sculptured and processed on the machine stand, which replaces the original backward plaster mold casting process and reduces the pilot process and the material consumption; at the same time, the plant will also be transformed and repaired to create intelligent, high-precision and efficient production and processing environment. After transformation of the project, economization, environmental protection, intelligentization, high efficiency and high precision will all be achieved. This project is planned to be put into operation at the end of 2017. By then, this company will produce 2,750 sets/unit tire molds annually with the production capacity of adjustable steel molds unchanged at 1,500 sets and that of adjustable aluminum molds increasing to 1,250 sets from 1,000 sets.
