Shantou Tianyang Mold Co., Ltd. decided to make technological transformation on the equipment for production of aluminum mold products with the investment of 35 Million Yuan.

Shantou Tianyang planned to purchase 7 sets of numerical-control intelligent 5-axis simultaneous machining centers as well as supporting equipment for transformation based on the features and technological requirements of passenger car tire aluminum mold products. Taking pattern block for example, aluminium plate was directly adopted for blanking and then sculptured and processed on machine, which replaced the original outdated plaster mold casting technique and reduced the medium process and consumables. Meanwhile, the workshop would also need to be transformed and repaired to meet the requirements of intelligent, high-precision and high-efficient production and processing environment. After the project transformation, the company would achieve the results of economization and environmental protection, intelligentization, high-efficiency and high-precision. The annual output of tire mold would increase 250 sets/unit to 2,750 sets/unit compared with that before.
