The large inclined angle fire-resistant solid-woven conveyer belt jointly researched and developed by An- hui Zhongyi Rubber Belts Co., Ltd. and Qingdong Coal Mine has run safely for one year in Qingdong Coal Mine 833 working surface. This kind of conveyer belt not only meets operating requirements of 60° groove angle and 31° inclined angle, but also breaks the usage record of fire-resistant solid-woven conveyer belt. Compared with original design and model, it can save procurement cost of 1.5 Million Yuan and 15% operating power consumption, contributing to the improvement of “double effect” for Qingdao Coal Mine.
It is always a technological problem for Chinese coal mining industry to ensure that the coal conveyer runs without slipping and running away from coal seam with the inclined angle above 30°, achieving safe, economic and high-efficient mining. Due to special geologic conditions, many high-quality coal seams of Qingdong Coal Mine present inclined angles between 20°~30° while some even exceed 30°. As a tool of coal transportation, the conveyer belt can be the key to resolve the above problems in condition that its performance can meet the above requirements. Because backstopping is carried on in this working surface, accordion conveyer is required and the conveyer belt joint needs to be changed frequently. Nowadays, steel cord conveyor belt and solid-woven conveyer belt are widely used in China’s underground coal mine. The conveying angle for steel cord conveyor belt can exceed 30°, but this conveyor belt can not meet the requirement of changing joint frequently in the working surface; while even though the solid-woven conveyer belt is convenient for joint changing, its maximum conveying angle is 18°, which can not meet the requirement for 31° conveying angle.
In order to meet the special requirements of Qingdong Coal Mine, an expert group was constituted jointly by Zhongyi Rubber Belts Co., Ltd. and Qingdong Coal Mine to tackle key problems. Based on production and operation experience of domestic and overseas conveyer belt products, they defined technical index, formulated technical scheme, conducted innovation researches from such aspect as material selection, structural design, formula and craft, adopted thermoplastic elasticity material and extrusion molding technology invented by Zhongyi Rubber Belts Co., Ltd. and finally successfully developed the large inclined angle fire-resistant solid-woven conveyer belt which accorded with the operating requirements of Qingdong Coal Mine 833 working surface in August 2015. The first batch of 1800m large inclined angle PVG2000S fire-resistant solid-woven conveyer belt passed the first trial run in Qingdong Coal Mine 833 working surface in October 2015.
