RUYES Chemicals Co., Ltd. and East China University of Science and Technology held a signing ceremony for the establishment of “ECUST & RUYES Joint Research Center for New Chemicals” in Shanghai on June 24. Both parties will carry out a long-term deep cooperation in the field of new chemical materials and initiate a new model of school-enterprise cooperation which realizes the industry-university-research integration and systemization.
RUYES Chemicals Co., Ltd. owns two subsidiaries, namely DEC Chemicals Co., Ltd. and CREMONE Chemicals Co., Ltd., engaged in the development and application of functional materials used for green tires and eco-friendly coatings. ECUST & RUYES Joint Research Center for New Chemicals consists of a green tire functional materials laboratory, an eco-friendly coating technology application laboratory and a cutting-edge new materials R&D laboratory.
Xu Qianjin, the President of RUYES Chemicals Co., Ltd., said that the establishment of the Research Center showed RUYES’ persistence in the value idea of “providing customers with comprehensive technical innovative solutions dedicatedly, intently and professionally”, and this company would be engaged in continuous innovation, new product development, and helping customers to improve their competiveness.
Both parties showed that they hoped to achieve the sharing of R&D resources and cultivation of R&D staff through cooperation; accelerate the industrialization process of innovative products; jointly develop new material projects which have a significant influence in the world; carry out forward-looking and strategic research in the field of green tires, eco-friendly coatings and energy storage materials; and work together to make achievements in the field of the segmentation of new materials.
