Lately, SINOPEC Baling signed a three-year cooperation framework agreement with Farsoon Technologies to establish an all-round cooperation relationship. This was another strategic measure of SINOPEC Baling in realizing transformation and upgrading of chemical products.
The project mainly covers development of elastomer powder materials and development of SLA (stereo lithography apparatus) epoxy resin, in which, SINOPEC Baling is responsible for development of 3D printing materials and Farsoon Technologies is responsible for R&D of 3D printing equipment to jointly promote innovation of additive manufacturing technology.
Both parties will establish a durable and smooth bilateral communication mechanism, establish a regular communication mechanism of once a month during the joint development and organize technical exchange meetings to discuss problems in material development process.
SINOPEC deploys enterprises such as SINOPEC Baling to carry out R&D of 3D printing materials in combination with the characteristics of the materials of the enterprise according to the development status and trend in domestic and overseas additive manufacturing field. SINOPEC Baling utilizes the advantages of three materials, synthetic rubber, epoxy resin and nylon 6 to carry out research on 3D printing materials such as thermoplastic elastomer, etc. as well as in research and development of nylon materials for 3D printing. Meanwhile, it carries out technical research on ultraviolet light polymerization photosensitive resin 3D printing material, nylon for vehicle, polyamide elastomer, epoxy curing agent, carbon fiber composite epoxy resin, etc. to promote the upgrading of industrial structure of three materials of the company.
