As reported by foreign media on May 11, the signing ceremony of Shanghai Huayi Group Settling in Thailand Lisheng Rubber Industrial Park was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Huayi Group would invested THB 10 Billion to build a production line with an annual capacity of 1.50 million units of all-steel radial tires and 50,000 units of engineering tires. According to the project progress, it was predicted that Huayi Rayong Factory would be put into operation in April 2017.

The factory area of Thailand Company is located in Lisheng Rubber Industrial Park, with an early-stage investment amount of THB 10 Billion (THB 100 = RMB 18.36 Yuan) and a floor area of 188 Lai (1 Lai = 1600 m2 ), which is predicted to provide 800 operating posts. The tires produced by this factory will face Thailand domestic market and ASEAN and North America market, with an estimated annual sales of THB 12 Billion. The factory will consume 60,000 ~ 80,000 tons of rubber each year in initial stage and the consumption will increase to 100,000 tons in the next 2~3 years.
