Since the tires produced by partial existing forming machines could not satisfy the market demand due to increasing demand of domestic saloon car market for high-performance and large-size tires, Bridgestone (Tianjin) Tire Co., Ltd. decided to invest 5.69 Million Yuan to newly add one forming machine and one function LRP inspection machine for spot check of finished tire products.

Bridgestone Tianjin Factory will dismantle 2 existing TKT forming machines and substitute them with introduced forming machine to produce high-performance and large-size tires; according to the requirements of Bridgestone Japan Company, the produced tires of R680 specification could be exported to Japan only after passing inspection of function LRP inspection machine, therefore Bridgestone Tianjin Factory also decides to introduce one function LRP inspection machine for spot check of 1% finished tire products to satisfy the requirement of tire export. It is predicted that the project will start in May and be put into operation at the end of 2016.

Bridgestone (Tianjin) Tire Co., Ltd. is a Sino-Japanese joint venture (now Chinese investor and Japanese investor own 5.53% and 94.47% respectively), with its factory located in Shuangjie Town, Beichen District, Tianjin City. It is mainly engaged in research, development and production of radial tires. At present, the total capacity of radial tire of the whole factory is 8,334,400 units/year.
