China Rubber Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as CRIA) organized the research group to complete Tire Labeling System Research in September and meanwhile put forward China tire label types, tire grading standard (draft) and implementation route map for tire labeling system. This work laid a solid foundation for China implementing tire labeling system as soon as possible. On January 26, the Ministry of In- dustry and Information Technology released Temporary Measures on Management of Announcements of Tire Producers, by the end of the year, 24 enterprises passed the examination of application materials and 9 tire enterprises declaring for access in Shandong Province received on-site verification in December. On June 12, the Ministry of Finance introduced Catalog of VAT Privilege of Resources Comprehensive Utilization Products and Service to implement preferential policy of VAT refund upon collection by 50% on rubber powder, retreaded tire and reclaimed rubber product since July 1. CRIA released four association standards, Process Specification of Cycle Tire Industry, Energy Consumption Limit of Unit Product in Cycle Tire Industry, E-series Reclaimed Rubberof Tire and Energy Consumption Limit of Unit Product of Conveyor Belt to pro- mote cleaner production as well as energy conservation and consumption reduction of the industry.
