Saudi Arabia is a mysterious country, but a huge market of tires, which is one of the biggest one in the Middle East with 13 million tires imported annually. As a strategic market, Toyomoto made great efforts to stand firm among great numbers of competitors.
From May 19 to 22, 2015, Toyomoto delegation paid another visit to Riyadh,capital of Saudi Arabia. Due to the low oil price, Saudi Arabia suffered from economic downwards,which makes the market worse and competition more severe.
As one of the steps, heavy investment was made by Toyomoto and its partner in Riyadh to set up a showroom in the center of its industrial area, which is located next door to Michelin, Hankook, Yokohama, Bridgestone etc. “We shall set up more than 10 such shops in the Kingdom”, said the local agent of Toyomoto.
Advertisement in the local newspaper is another step.
As a personal friend of the current King Salman Bin Ibn Saud, the local partner of Toyomoto is very confident to build up Toyomoto as one of the strongest tire brands in the Kingdom.
