Purcell Tire Co. has expanded into Kansas City, Mo., with the opening of a Purcell Tire and Service Center located between Missouri Routes 269 and 210.

“We recognized Kansas City as being a vibrant and active commercial market; we are excited about this latest acquisition,” said Roger Lucas, CEO of Purcell Tire Co. “Kansas City is a natural expansion with other locations in the area and our truck and OTR retread plant in nearby Potosi, Mo.”

The size of the facility will support a large inventory of tires to support the area with auto, light truck, commercial, industrial and off-the-road tires, according to the company. Purcell will also offer 24/7 roadside service.

The company named Richard Kerber manager of the Kansas City center.
