China Manufacturers Alliance L.L.C. (CMA) has put into service its West Coast distribution center in Rancho Cucamonga, eight months after breaking ground on the 129,00-sq.-ft. facility.

The center will support customers with shipments of Double Coin and other CMA brands, CMA said. Monrovia, Calif.-based CMA's operates one other North America warehouse in Memphis.

"We've invested in the latest building innovations to construct an energy-efficient and technologically advanced distribution center," said CMA Vice President Aaron Murphy.

The facility uses more natural light and is constructed with other energy-saving sources, including motion-detecting lighting technology, he added.

The facility was designed for tire distribution optimization, CMA said, with customized and portable racking systems that provide multiple storage combinations at full capacity, a wireless mobile security monitoring system as well as dock-high and grade level bay doors.

Brian Rainwater is the center's manager.

The center opens as CMA prepares to launch the Warrior brand of passenger tires.

CMA's other brands are Bluestar, Dynacargo, Dynatrail and Superhawk.

CMA, a subsidiary of China's Double Coin Holdings Ltd., put the scale of investment in the "millions" of dollars.
