China Manufacturers Alliance L.L.C. is building a 129,000-sq.-ft. distribution center in Rancho Cucamonga and is evaluating the feasiblity of additional warehousing "in the near future".

CMA, a subsidiary of China's Double Coin Holdings Ltd., plans to break ground on the center April 25 and have it operating by November. The new facility, to be built on a six-acre plot of land near the intersection of 8th Street and Vineyard Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga, will replace a smaller, leased facility in San Dimas, Calif.

The company put the scale of investment in the "millions" of dollars.

CMA also operates a warehouse in Memphis, Tenn. It will continue to have its headquarters in Monrovia, Calif.
