Global 2013 natural rubber consumption expected up 5.9%

Global natural rubber consumption is expected to rise by 5.9% to 11.6 million metric tons in 2013, according to the latest report by the International Rubber Study Group.

The IRSG forecasts 2013 natural rubber production at 11.8 million tons, up 3.2% from 2012.
