Canton, Ohio (May 29, 2012) — China´s Guizhou Tyre Corp. has earned SmartWay verification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for low rolling resistance for its Samson GL283A L.E.T. truck tyre.

The tyres are manufactured by Guizhou Tyre in Guiyang, Guizhou, China and are distributed through its North American division, GTC North America Inc. dba Great Lakes Tire Co. in Canton.

The GL283A LET is an all-position tyre and is available in sizes 11R22.5, 11R24.5, 285/75R22.5, 395/75R22.5, 275/70R22.5, 255/70R22.5, 265/70R19.5, 245/70R19.5, 235/75R17.5, 225/70R19.5, 8R19.5 and 215/75R17.5.
