Beijing (May 17, 2012) – Tyre production in China in the first three months of 2012 reached 197.5 million units, and increase of 6.8 percent over the same period a year ago.

Of the total, 93.4 million were of radial construction, an increase of 6 percent over the same period in 2011.

The figures for March were production of 74.76 million units, up 3.5 percent and radial production of 35.0 million units, up 6.25 percent on the same month a year ago.
