Beijing (Apr. 12, 2012) – Full transcripts of the speeches and presentations made at the 2012 Automotive and Tire Industry Forum and Global Business Summit being held from Apr. 11-12 in Beijing are being added live to a Chinese-language news site.
The main presentation is by Ding Yuhua, president of Triangle Tires in which he makes the case for development of green tyres. He said Triangle will take the low carbon, green manufacturing path.
He said Triangle is committed to working with international standards organisations and national organisations to ensure Triangle and other tyre makers in China adhere to international standards.
The company, he said, “is committed to build new green products, green manufacturing, green supply chain, green consumption mode.”
In another presentation, Wang Xuekun of the Policy Research Office of the Ministry of Commerce said, “China is faced with more intense, more severe trade friction. Historical experience shows that as long as the economic crisis, trade protection measures, and even trade wars are likely to occur.” He added, “Generally speaking, these measures are unjust, but also with a lot of discrimination. “
