Beijing (Mar. 27, 2012) – DoubleStar Dongfeng Tire Corp said it has introduced its sixth generation of coloured tyre, with passenger car tyres coloured entirely in red, blue and other colours, although the innerliner still remains black.

It said the company held a seminar on its development and claimed the tyres in-service performance and quality have been improving. The report did not indicate how the tyres are produced, but previous reports suggested it is simply a painting process.
