Keyuan to increase production of styrene butadiene rubber
Keyuan Petrochemicals Inc. will increase its capacity of solution polymerized styrene butadiene rubber with a new facility capable of making 150,000 tons per year.
The plant will use Keyuan’s proprietary technology to produce the tire raw material. Keyuan is an independent manufacturer and supplier of petrochemicals.

Mesnac buys U.S. tire test machine maker
Chinese machinery maker Mesnac Co. Ltd. has purchased majority ownership of Akron-based Test Measurement Systems Inc. (TMSI), a developer and maker of scientific and test-engineering systems for the tire and automotive industries.

Accused companies reviewing Toyo's complaint to ITC
Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. has accused 22 tire makers, importers and retailers of patent infringement before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Rubber falls from one-week high on concern China demand will weaken
Rubber retreated from a one-week high after U.S. jobs data missed estimates and on concern that slowing growth in China, the biggest buyer, may cut demand for the commodity used in tires.

Hankook income, sales increase in recent quarter

Jianghuai Automobile exports 57,000 vehicles to Brazil
